West Point scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers 49-43. If the Pointers were looking for revenge after losing 60-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gerard Hill was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds for King & Queen Central. Hill's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Gibson, who posted 11 points.

This is the second loss in a row for West Point and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for King & Queen Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

West Point will be playing in front of their home fans against Colonial Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King & Queen Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 80-37 defeat against Northumberland on the 13th.
