Basketball Recap: Calvary Comes Up Short

Calvary lost against Phoenix back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Calvary Crusaders had to suffer through a 79-41 loss at the hands of the Phoenix Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Falcons are ranked 191st).

Calvary's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Phoenix, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary will challenge Muskegon Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Phoenix, they will take on Kalamazoo HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
