Basketball Game Preview: North Bend Bulldogs vs. Cottage Grove Lions

North Bend and Cottage Grove are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The North Bend Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cottage Grove Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. North Bend has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 30.

Last Friday, North Bend was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-51 to Junction City.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cottage Grove). They took down Junction City 73-54 on Tuesday.

North Bend's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cottage Grove, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

North Bend came up short against Cottage Grove in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-58. Can North Bend avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
