SkyView Academy skates past Lyons with ease

The SkyView Academy Hawks can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 66-37 win over Lyons. The victory was nothing new for SkyView Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.

SkyView Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Markus Lloyd, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Lloyd has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Dove, who scored 16 points.

Lyons' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caleb Christiansen, who scored 17 points along with two blocks, and Zack Lacrosse who scored ten points. That was a full 45.9% of Lyons' points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

SkyView Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

SkyView Academy will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Windsor Charter Academy at 7:30 p.m. Windsor Charter Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 799 points over their last 12 contests. Lyons will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Gilpin County at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Lyons is facing Gilpin County at the right time seeing as Gilpin County is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
