Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northeast on Tuesday, Clinton came back down to earth. The River Kings fell 6-3 to the Davenport North Wildcats on Thursday. The River Kings haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Davenport North, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Clinton by a score of 13-3 later that day.
