Gateway Christian's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 58-45 victory over the Capitan Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gateway Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zack McCracken led the charge by putting up eight points along with ten steals and seven assists. McCracken is becoming a predictor of the Warriors' success: when he posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Sam Waide, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Gateway Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Capitan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Gateway Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-75 loss against To'hajiilee on the 13th. As for Capitan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 48-42 victory against Quemado on the 13th.
