Basketball Game Preview: Wheaton Knights vs. Einstein Titans

Wheaton is 2-8 against Einstein since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Wheaton Knights will square off against the Einstein Titans. Wheaton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matchups.

Wheaton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They slipped by Northwood 71-70.

Meanwhile, Einstein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Gaithersburg, falling 57-37.

Wheaton's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Einstein, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Wheaton came up short against Einstein in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 53-41. Thankfully for Wheaton, Justin Gayle (who went 7 for 12 to rack up 15 points and eight boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
