Basketball Recap: Silverado Takes a Loss

Silverado saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell to the San Marino Titans 61-55. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 620th, while the Titans are ranked 221st).

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for San Marino, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Silverado will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Beaumont at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. San Marino also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Flintridge Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
