Soccer Recap: West Burlington Comes Up Short

West Burlington came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the Fort Madison Bloodhounds.

West Burlington now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fort Madison, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0-1.

West Burlington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Quincy Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Fort Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Danville on the 11th.
