Pacific Grove had to settle for second on Saturday, but River Lyon sure wasn't going down easily. Lyon pitched 0.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, which was good enough to set a new career-low in hits.

Looking ahead, Lyon and Pacific Grove will challenge Christopher at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pacific Grove hasn't beaten Christopher recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2022.
