Football Recap: Cathedral Takes a Loss

Cathedral lost against Silliman Institute back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Green Wave fell 32-27 to the Wildcats. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Silliman Institute, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cathedral will take on West Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Green Wave will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Silliman Institute, they will square off against Oak Forest Academy on Friday.
