After a string of five wins, Patrick Henry's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 54-47 to the Salem Spartans. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Patrick Henry's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Salem, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pulaski County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salem, they and Northside will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
