Baseball Recap: Windward Comes Up Short

Windward came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Olympian Eagles. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Windward has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Olympian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

Looking ahead, Windward will challenge Brentwood School at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Olympian, they will welcome Otay Ranch at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
