Soccer Game Preview: Geneva vs. Newark

The Geneva Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Newark Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Geneva's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Geneva's offense. They came up short against Penn Yan Academy on Wednesday, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that Geneva have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Newark was forced to settle for a draw. They and Dansville finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

With that draw, Newark's record moves to 1-1-1. As for Geneva, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
