Softball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glenwood City Hilltoppers. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have lost by just one run.

Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Glenwood City, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

When Spencer and Glenwood City next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Rockets will try to stop Columbus Catholic's six-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Glenwood City will square off against Boyceville and their three-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
