Flag Football Game Preview: Hamilton Huskies vs. Mountain View Toros + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Marlie Phillips and TIERAH METCALF are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hamilton Huskies will host the Mountain View Toros at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hamilton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Pinnacle, posting a 48-3 win. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Pioneers are ranked 31st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mountain View made easy work of Desert Vista on Wednesday and carried off a 31-7 victory.

Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.8 points over those games. As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 18-0.

Everything came up roses for Hamilton against Mountain View in their previous matchup back in October, as the squad secured a 35-6 win. In that contest, the Huskies amassed a halftime lead of 21-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
