Volleyball Recap: Basalt Comes Up Short

Basalt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Soroco Rams, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2016.

While Basalt ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.
