Volleyball Recap: Kenston's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Kenston was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brunswick on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombers fell just short of the Revere Minutemen by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Bombers' undefeated start to the season.

Kenston took Revere into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 13-25, 23-25, 15-6.

When it comes to explaining why Kenston lost, don't look at Brooke Race. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kenston fell to 3-1. As for Revere, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Kenston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hathaway Brown on the 25th. As for Revere, they will challenge Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Minutemen their first taste of in-conference action this season.
