Football Game Preview: Carson Colts vs. Crenshaw Cougars + How To Watch

The Carson Colts will face off against the Crenshaw Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Carson comes in on seven and Crenshaw on eight.

Carson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 40-7 victory over Garfield. Considering the Colts have won eight matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chris Fields iii was his usual excellent self, rushing for 148 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 146 yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Fields iii was just one part of a punishing run game: Carson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 195 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, a win is a win, as they say, even a pretty close 12-7 win over Birmingham.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Crenshaw, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
