Football Recap: Neumann Comes Up Short at Home Against IMG Academy Junior National + How To Watch

Neumann unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the IMG Academy Junior National Ascenders at home by a 35-21 margin on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Neumann lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayden Petit, who picked up 132 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Another player making a difference was Peyton Frontino, who threw for 273 yards and two touchdowns.

Neumann wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 51-0 win against Evangelical Christian on the 29th. As for IMG Academy Junior National, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-19 victory against Key West on the 29th.
