The St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels will face off against the Leslie Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary Catholic Central's defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so Leslie's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, St. Mary Catholic Central lost to Detroit Country Day on the road by a 17-3 margin. The game marked the Falcons/Kestrels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leslie). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Vandercook Lake 56-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Blackhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Mary Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Leslie, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for St. Mary Catholic Central against Leslie when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons/Kestrels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
