Volleyball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Laguna Creek Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-7, 25-19.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Laguna Creek, they moved to 10-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Sheldon has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cosumnes Oaks on the 9th. As for Laguna Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Elk Grove on the 9th.
