Recap: Central Valley Academy Thunder vs. Camden Blue Devils

The Central Valley Academy Thunder entered their tilt with the Camden Blue Devils with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Central Valley Academy came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 71-58 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Deacon Judd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Central Valley Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Luke, who scored 17 points.

Central Valley Academy's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Camden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

Central Valley Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Express at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Oneida will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Thunder are ranked 24th). Camden is on the road again on Friday and plays the Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
