Dutchtown is 3-0 against Northgate since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Dutchtown Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Northgate Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Dutchtown is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Newnan just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Northgate fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Lovejoy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since January 18, 2024.

Northgate dropped their record down to 7-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Dutchtown, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Dutchtown took their win against Northgate in their previous meeting on Friday by a conclusive 54-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dutchtown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
