While John Carroll Catholic put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Cocoa Beach. The Rams walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Minutemen. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on six straight.

Taggert Cameron made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up a single earned run in 13 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Zachary Stern was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Grady Messner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

John Carroll Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

John Carroll Catholic's record is now 17-9. As for Cocoa Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
