Baseball Recap: St. George's Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. George's offense. They came up short against the Bob Jones Patriots on Tuesday, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Gryphons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. George's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bob Jones, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

St. George's will host Covington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bob Jones, they have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Christ Presbyterian Academy on the 12th.
