Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Ross' Eighth in Last Ten Outings + How To Watch

Ross won the last time they faced Start and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Little Giants blew past the Spartans 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ross took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-1, 25-4.

Ross got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryla Smith out in front who had five aces and three digs. Smith is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Hayden Dircksen, who had eight digs and seven aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Ross was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Ross has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Start, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Ross will face off against Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Start does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
