Volleyball Game Preview: Newark Wildcats vs. Reynoldsburg Raiders

The Newark Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Reynoldsburg Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, Newark came up short against Olentangy and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Reynoldsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Dublin Scioto on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Reynoldsburg walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.

Reynoldsburg's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Newark, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Newark suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Reynoldsburg when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
