Calhoun County is 10-0 against Wagener-Salley since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Despite the defeat, Calhoun County had strong showings from Christian Tyler-Corley, who posted six points and nine steals, and Jamaryia McMichael, who had three points in addition to 15 rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Wagener-Salley scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 51-41 to Horse Creek Academy.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wagener-Salley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Calhoun County was able to grind out a solid win over Wagener-Salley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 34-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calhoun County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
