Sacred Heart of Jesus entered their tilt with St. Mary's Academy on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over the Belles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-0 back in March.

Trinity Godson and Alina Valenzuela were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Godson struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Valenzuela tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. At the plate, Godson scored three runs while going 1-for-3, while Valenzuela scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Yelena Moran was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Genevee Hernandez, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Sacred Heart of Jesus pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for St. Mary's Academy, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Mary's Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Comets see the field they'll take on Pomona Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for St. Mary's Academy, their break will end when they face La Salle at 3:15 p.m. on May 1.
