Football Recap: Roxbury Takes Down Cranford in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Roxbury walked away with it. They came out on top against the Cranford Cougars by a score of 21-12 on Friday. That nine point margin sets a new team best for the Gaels this season.

Roxbury found their leader in sophomore Frankie Falco, who rushed for 141 yards and three TDs. The Gaels are undefeated when Falco posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Roxbury has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Cranford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Roxbury will face off against West Morris Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack's defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Gaels' offense will have their work cut out for them. Cranford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
