Softball Recap: Caldera Has No Trouble Against Mountain View

Caldera was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Mountain View on Wednesday. Caldera was the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over Mountain View. The win continues a trend for Caldera in their matchups with Mountain View: they've now won five in a row.

Nina Santos Wagner looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elliotte Preston, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Elie Hall, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Caldera's record is now 7-10. As for Mountain View, their record now sits at 9-9.
