Basketball Recap: Keota Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Keota, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Iowa Valley Tigers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 66-51. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-57 back in December of 2024.

Keota pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.2 points. As for Iowa Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Keota is taking a road trip to face off against English Valleys at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iowa Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Cedar Valley Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
