Eagan lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lakeville South, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's game. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Cougars on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Eagan now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lakeville South, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eagan will face off against rival Lakeville North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 4, the Panthers 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lakeville South is set to challenge their familiar foe Eastview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
