Basketball Game Preview: Accelerate Academy Wildcats vs. Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots

The Accelerate Academy Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots on Monday. Accelerate Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

While Wildcats fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They breezed past Combine Academy Global to the tune of 85-36 on Monday. The Wildcats pushed the score to 71-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Goats had no chance of recovering from.

Accelerate Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Mckenney led the charge by dropping a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrez Neal, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Hickory Grove Christian 63-33. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.
