Soccer Recap: Browne Gets the Win

Browne won the last time they faced Camelback and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Browne Bruins had just enough and edged the Camelback Spartans out 3-2. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Spartans are ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Browne's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Camelback, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Browne will square off against Brophy College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Browne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Camelback, they will be playing at home against Desert Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
