Volleyball Recap: CHESS Christian Wins Going Away Against East Dayton Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Valley Academy, CHESS Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past East Dayton Christian 3-0.

CHESS Christian was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-17.

Lillian Hunley paced CHESS Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Hunley got some help from Greta Miron and her 24 assists. Miron was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

CHESS Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for East Dayton Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

CHESS Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Immaculate Conception Academy at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. East Dayton Christian has already played their next match (against Dominion Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
