Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taft). Everything went their way against the Benavides Eagles on Tuesday as the Taft Greyhounds made off with a 19-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Taft's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Benavides, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Taft has already played their next match, a 10-3 loss against Sinton on the 12th. Benavides will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bruni at 6:00 p.m. on April 16th.
