Southwestern Heights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Ulysses Tigers 14-4. Considering the Mustangs have won 13 matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Southwestern Heights' victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Ulysses, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
