Baseball Recap: Pickens Academy Comes Up Short

Pickens Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals.

Pickens Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Crowe, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Crowe hit this season.

Pickens Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for St. Michael Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Coming up, Pickens Academy will head out to challenge Aliceville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Michael Catholic, they will face off against White County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
