            Baseball Recap: Center Hill Mustangs vs. Myrtle Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            On Monday, the Center Hill Mustangs came up short against the Myrtle Hawks  and fell  9-5. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by  exactly four  runs.
Center Hill saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Brunetz, who  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles and one  RBI.  Deshann Hannah also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Brunetz wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Center Hill  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when  they post 11 or more  hits.
This is the second loss in a row for Center Hill and  nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Myrtle, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Hill will welcome Olive Branch  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Olive Branch will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  victory, something Center Hill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Myrtle,  it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Myrtle Hawks  duke it out with  West Union Eagles at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
