Softball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

Forest came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Richland Rangers, falling 9-2. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Bearcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Forest now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Richland, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, Forest will head out to take on Quitman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Richland, they will host Pelahatchie at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
