The Northridge Knights will head out on the road to take on the Clearfield Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Northridge sitting on three straight wins and Clearfield on seven.
On Friday, Northridge beat Bonneville 6-3.

Northridge got a great performance from Brock Larsen as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, Larsen posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mick Whitaker, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Northridge: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Isaac Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Northridge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matchups.
Clearfield came out on top against Roy on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Falcons blew past the Royals 10-4.
Brady Reynolds made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Reynolds was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Clearfield let Brodie Deal and Ethan Reimer run wild. Deal went 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI, while Reimer went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Brody Mower was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Northridge's record now sits at 5-8. As for Clearfield, their record is now 7-9.
Northridge couldn't quite get it done against Clearfield in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 as they fell 8-3. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
