Basketball Recap: Thunder Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Highland last Tuesday, Thunder Ridge came back down to earth. The Thunder Ridge Titans took a hard 55-38 fall against the Madison Bobcats on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 50-33 loss back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Thunder Ridge lost, don't look at Nevaeh Davenport. Despite the final result, she went 6 for 9 en route to 18 points and three steals. Those 18 points gave Davenport a new career-high.

Thunder Ridge's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Thunder Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-31 victory against Highland on the 11th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-45 defeat against Rigby on the 11th.
