Baseball Recap: Eldorado Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Eldorado came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Santa Fe Demons. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Nathaniel Jaramillo, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Yturbe, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eldorado kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.

Eldorado's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Santa Fe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Eldorado nor Santa Fe have any future games scheduled.
