Soccer Game Preview: Tuloso-Midway vs. Bishop

The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees will head out on the road to challenge the Bishop Badgers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuloso-Midway came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Jones, falling 4-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Warriors & Cherokees haven't been shut out since back in January.

Meanwhile, Bishop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 6-3 to Ingleside. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Badgers were already down 4-1.

Tuloso-Midway moved to 8-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Bishop, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Tuloso-Midway took their victory against Bishop when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tuloso-Midway since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
