Softball Recap: Miller's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Steelville on Saturday, Miller came back down to earth. Miller fell just short of the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish by a score of 8-7 on Saturday. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Miller fell to 5-1. As for Springfield Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Coming up, Miller will square off against Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Springfield Catholic, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against New Heights Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m.
