Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seneca). They enjoyed a cozy 72-57 victory over the Medford Tech Jaguars on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Tyler Branson and Nesta Rice certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Branson went 7-for-12 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds, while Rice posted 20 points along with six boards and four steals. Rice's big performance that morning made it 17 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David James, who had three points.

Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Medford Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Seneca has already played their next game (against Shawnee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Medford Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-50 loss against Moorestown Friends on the 24th.
