The Jay Bulldogs will square off against the Oologah Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jay has four straight victories, Oologah has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Jay got a massive performance out of Leland Johnson, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradee Rutherford, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Oologah might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Glenpool who claimed the real prize. Oologah fell just short of Glenpool by a score of 11-10. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 6-0 in the first period.

Oologah's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jay, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Jay suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Oologah in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can Jay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
