Softball Recap: San Marcos Knights vs. Great Oak Wolfpack
San Marcos lost to Great Oak back in March of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Wolfpack.
The team relied heavily on Emily Lew, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024. Addie Taufa was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.
San Marcos hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 8-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.
